Passengers down at Gatwick Airport

The severe weather conditions last month affected the number of travellers passing through Gatwick Airport. The airport suffered a decrease of 5.4 percent compared to the same time last year as 1.87 million passengers used the airport.
Compared to last year, the number of passengers using Gatwick decreased for nearly all destinations, with flights to North America particularly affected. However, the number of passengers taking scheduled flights to European destinations increased by around six percent.
