Gatwick to charge £13 for airport parking overstays

An airport parking company has revealed that the rates for overstays for Gatwick long stay car parks have changed. They received a message from the airport as follows:
Just to make you aware that our car parks roll up tariffs have now changed. It is £13 per 24 hours or part there of for Long Stay North, Long Stay South, Summer Special and Long Stay Plus (when it re-opens).
This makes it even more important to make sure you allow some extra time when you book your airport parking, in case of delays or holdups. You often will not pay more for an extra hour when you prebook, but you will be charged £13 for an extra hour if you do not.
