Gatwick meet and greet parking company Help me park have met the high standards set by the Safer Parking Scheme and received the Parkmark award for a second year after claiming their first award only a year after the opening of their car park in 2008. A spokesman said that it was a well deserved achievement, considering their impressive zero crime record in the Help Me Park facility over the last 12 months.
The Parkmark award is controlled by the Safer Parking Scheme is an initiative put forward by the Association of Chief Police Officers to help crack down on crime in car parks by offering reassurance to the customer that their car will be parked in a safe and secure car park. To obtain the award parking facilities are subject to an inspection by the Police, who asses the measures taken to protect the cars parked there. These include measures to deter criminal activity and anti social behaviour, doing everything reasonable to reduce crime and fear of crime.
