Flybe winter flights on sale

Flybe has announced an early release of seats on flights on a number of routes that it will be operating during its 2009-10 winter schedule. Some 480 weekly flights from Gatwick Airport that are now on sale for travel from October 25th.
The flights that are on sale from Gatwick include ten regional services to destinations including Aberdeen, Belfast and Newquay. Flybe will also continue to offer flights to Mediterranean hotspots over the winter period, with the most popular expected to be Alicante, Faro, Malaga and Palma.
Mike Rutter, the airline's chief commercial officer, said: ‘Flybe recognises that times are tough for travel planning this year. The early release of a selection of our most popular winter routes enables our passengers them to plan their winter travel in advance.’ It also allows Flybe to see which flights are popular earlier, so that the airline to adjust their schedule, plus they get paid earlier too.
