easyJet announce Gatwick – Luxor flights
06.08.10
easyJet will launch flights between Gatwick and Luxor, Egypt, in November. The service will operate twice a week, each Monday and Wednesday, with passengers bound for the Valley of the Kings and Nile cruises.
At present, only charter airlines serve Luxor from the UK. Thomson, Thomas Cook and Monarch each fly once a week from Gatwick, while charter airlines also operate from Manchester, Birmingham and Bristol.
The new easyJet five hour flights are from £127.81 return including tax. The budget airline already flies to the Egyptian resort of Sharm el-Sheikh from Gatwick, Luton and Manchester.
