Air Transat Gatwick – New Brunswick flights take off

Air Transat will launch a weekly seasonal between Gatwick Airport and Fredericton International Airport, New Brunswick today. The airline will operate the flights each Tuesday from today until October 28 for the British holiday company Canadian Affair, part of Transat AT Inc.
The Airbus A310 aircraft, which will also stop at Halifax, can carry 259 passengers. The flights cost from £99 one way, including taxes. A spokesman said that 2,000 passengers have already booked flights, including about 1100 travelling from the UK to Canada.
