Air Southwest Gatwick's most punctual

Air Southwest has been named the most punctual scheduled airline departing from Gatwick Airport last year. Aviation analytics website Flightontime.info, using figures from the Civil Aviation Authority, found the Plymouth-based airline was number one among the top 25 airlines flying from Gatwick during 2007.
Air Southwest flies four times daily from Gatwick to Plymouth and Newquay, with nearly 3,000 of flights from the capital last year. Its chief executive, Jim Cameron, said: ‘It is fantastic news for Air Southwest to be recognised as the leading airline for punctuality from this airport. It shows that getting flights away on time is an absolute priority for Air Southwest and this achievement is testament to the skill and efforts of all our crews and our teams on the ground in making sure we provide a top-class service to all our customers.’
