Gatwick Airport gains Kiev flights

AeroSvit-Ukranian, Ukraine's largest airline, is to launch flights between Gatwick and Kiev this month. The airline will operate daily weekday services on the route.
Stewart Wingate, Gatwick Airport’s chief executive, said: ‘We are delighted to welcome AeroSvit-Ukranian Airlines to Gatwick. It will fly around 65,000 passengers direct to and from Kiev each year’.
Alexander Avdieiev, director general at AeroSvit-Ukrainian Airlines, said that passengers boarding the new flights can fly on to other areas of Ukraine, such as Odessa, Lugansk and Frankovsk, from its Kiev hub.
