Virgin pilot talks to continue next week; no strike dates yet

Talks aimed at averting a strike by Virgin Atlantic pilots are to continue next week after another set of negotiations yesterday. BALPA Union members at the airline voted in favour of industrial action last month in protest at a deal worth 4 percent following wage freezes in recent years, but have yet to announce strike dates.
The union said it has been in 'intense talks' with the airline this week. The talks will resume on Monday, with an announcement of strike dates delayed whilst these talks continue.
