Flyglobespan bookies favourite for next failure

After Paddy Power withdrew Alitalia from the betting in their 'Next Airline To Go Bust' betting market, Flyglobespan has emerged as the hot favourite to be the next to go into administration and cease operating, Online Betting Guide reports. The Scottish budget airline is favourite despite recent reports that it would make a profit and is in a healthy position.
Flyglobespan is the 6/4 favourite, well ahead of any other airline in the betting. The airline claimed the company is in a strong cash flow position and is even looking to add some aircraft to its fleet as prices have fallen. However, OBG suggests that 'there are more problems though with such a short price being offered by Paddy Power.'
Airlines that look a bit safer are Jet2 and Sky Europe (both 12/1), Thomas Cook Airlines (20/1), United Airlines (33/1) and Flybe (50/1). The likes of British Airways, Virgin, easyJet and Ryanair are all 100/1 with Paddy Power.
