Ryanair to cut Edinburgh flights

Ryanair is set to cut its flights from Edinburgh Airport by a third this winter. Flights on eight of its routes will be cut from October, while there are reports that a further 11 routes could also be affected after it emerged winter flights had not been put on sale.
The budget airline currently flies 29 routes from the airport and hoped to carry 1.8 million passengers on flights to and from Edinburgh this year.
