Landing emergency at Edinburgh Airport

Emergency services at Edinburgh Airport were scrambled to the runway this morning after an in-bound flight reported hydraulic problems as it came into land. The Flybe plane touched down without problem 15 minutes later. It was not clear what caused the problem.
On site fire engines, medical vehicles and police were notified of the problem when it was relayed to the airport tower just before 08:45 from a Flybe passenger jet on its final approach. A spokesman for the airport, said: ‘The crews were stood down after 14 minutes when the plane landed without problem.’
