Women fined £750 for Edinburgh Airport thefts

Two women who stole seven pairs of designer sunglasses from the duty free shop at Edinburgh Airport have been fined £750.
Jean McGovern, 42, and Annette Daniel, 47, both of Glasgow, were bound for a holiday in Turkey when they visited the World Duty Free store on Thursday (June 11). Instead they spent a night in the cells after being caught stealing sunglasses.
At Edinburgh Sheriff Court today both women were fined £750 after admitting the theft.
