Edinburgh Airport passengers continue to climb

The number of passengers passing through Edinburgh Airport rose again last month – the seventh month in a row. Passengers were up 3.8 percent to 824,600 in October compared to last year. The annual figure was 9.1 million, and its cargo carried also rose by almost three quarters over the year.
International traffic grew by 15 percent as the expansion by Ryanair contributed to Edinburgh's increase. Passenger numbers fell at Glasgow, Aberdeen Airport and Prestwick.
