09.07.09
Flyglobespan, the Edinburgh-based holiday airline, has reported its flights had a load factor of over 97 percent last month, before the start of the busy holiday season. This compares with the 86.9 percent load factor reported by easyJet , 85 percent for Ryanair and 79.6 percent for British Airways.
Scotland's biggest airline, which operates flights from Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen, has previously seen load factors – a measure of how full flights are – of 90 percent in April and May. Founder Tom Dalrymple said it is outperforming competitors during a difficult year.
