Flyglobespan cut winter flights
01.08.08
Dozens of flights from Edinburgh Airport are set to be axed as a result of cuts by Flyglobespan, Scotland's largest independent carrier. The airline will reportedly make the cuts because of the rising cost of fuel.
Flights to sunshine resorts this winter will be the hardest hit. It was reported this morning that Flyglobespan has cancelled flights that passengers have already paid for to destinations including Barcelona, Nice, and budget resorts in Greece and Portugal.
