East Midlands Airport roadworks February 5 - 12

Overnight resurfacing and general road maintenance works will be taking place on the A453 between M1 Junction 24 and Crusader roundabout at Clifton, affecting passengers travelling to or from East Midlands Airport.
The roadworks will take place between Saturday 5th February and Sunday 12th February 2011 from 20:00 to 05:00, and will require overnight lane closures (in both directions). Diversionary routes will be implemented.
The resurfacing work would be carried out between:
- Monday to Thursday 20:00 - 05:30
- Friday 21:00 – 06:00
- Saturday 20:00 – 06:00
- Sun 21:00 – 05:00
Diversions will be in place, with one taking passengers on a detour of over 12 miles. Signposts will be in place. Passengers are advised to allow extra time for their journey and visit the airport website for more information.
