Jet2 announce East Midlands – Pisa flights

The low-cost airline Jet2 has announced a service linking East Midlands Airport and Pisa, Italy. The summer only once weekly flights will take off on May 5, 2012 and operate until September 29.
A spokesman for the airline said the new route offers ‘a perfect location for those wishing to sample the delights of Italy’ and a ‘gateway to some of the most beautiful places in Tuscany’. Jet2 has operated flights between the UK and Pisa since 2005, with summer season services the Tuscan city to Belfast, Leeds Bradford, Manchester and Newcastle.
