Cocaine found in footballs at East Midlands Airport

Cocaine worth £120,000 was discovered inside a consignment of footballs. One hundred packets of the drug were found sewn into the inner lining of 5 balls from Brazil by customs officers at East Midlands Airport.
A total of 650g was recovered and officers. The consignment arrived on Monday and was destined for an address in the London area. No arrests have been made and investigations continue.
