Fish feet therapy now available at East Midlands Airport
11.02.11
From tomorrow (Saturday February 12) passengers using East Midlands Airport will be able to experience a fish pedicure or manicure. Silky Soles is opening a station at the hub, and follows launches at Manchester Airport's Terminal 2 and Belfast International Airport.
Flyers looking to treat themselves can place their hands or feet in a tank with live Garra Rufa fish, who will 'gently' remove dry and hard skin from hands and feet, leaving them feeling soft and smooth ahead of their holiday.
Sue Taylor, managing director of Silky Soles, said: ‘We are delighted to showcase Silky Soles to a new audience at these busy airports. We look forward to building on customers' 'holiday morale' by enabling them to pamper themselves and relax before leaving for their holidays, something which they may be too busy to do in their day to day lives.’
Passengers can also pick up a loyalty card, which will allow them to get a free fish therapy treatment for every six stamps collected. Once was enough for the writer of this article !
