Download Festival hits East Midlands Airport passengers

Passengers heading for East Midlands Airport this weekend have been warned about increased traffic. The Download Festival, which kicked off on Wednesday and runs until Monday is taking place at neighbouring Donington Park. It is expected to be particularly busy over the weekend.
A spokesman for East Midlands Airport recommended that customers plan to arrive at the terminal at least 2 hours before departure and advised that customers allow extra time for their journey.
