East Midlands Airport launch transport information website

East Midlands Airport has launched a new website that provides passengers with information on how to get to or from the airport using public transport. www.skylink.co.uk, provides information about routes, fares and timetables for buses and trains linking to the airport.
The website provides details of bus services including Nottingham Skylink, Leicester Skylink, Derby Airline Shuttle, Loughborough Airline Shuttle, plus local train services and national bus routes. It also has accessibility information for disabled travellers and links to tourist attractions, providing valuable information for inbound tourists visiting the region
Kelly McHugh, bus partnership spokeswoman for East Midlands Airport, said: 'The Skylink website will make it easier for our passengers to find public transport information, as this has previously been accessed via various bus operator sites.'
To celebrate the launch of the site, the airport is offering a mini-break for two to a destination of their choice from East Midlands Airport to the 500th person to sign up to 'Club Skylink'. Members of Club Skylink will receive discounts for their journey to the Airport as well as local tourist attractions.
