Jet2 to expand from East Midlands Airport

Jet2 is to create 40 more jobs at East Midlands Airport after announcing that it is adding another aircraft to its fleet at the hub in 2012. The budget airline already has two aircraft based at the airport and flies to 12 destinations.
It plans to add Malaga and Murcia to its timetable and expects to fly 4,300 extra passengers each week from next year. The airline will hire extra cabin staff, pilots and ground staff at the airport in 2012.
