Ryanair axe Durham Tees – Barcelona flights

Ryanair is set to axe another of its routes out of Durham Tees Valley Airport in the new year. The airline, which operates services to Barcelona and Alicante, has written to its customers saying that flights to Barcelona after March 28 have been cancelled.
The letter, sent out this week, reads - ‘Ryanair regrets that following an operational review, flights will cease operation from March 28, 2010, onwards.’ The news comes just months after the airline scrapped flights between Durham Tees and Dublin.
