Eastern to launch Durham Tees Valley - Brussels flights

Eastern Airways is to run its first service to Brussels from Durham Tees Valley Airport. The airline will run two flights a day on weekdays using 29-seat Jetsteam 41 aircraft from October 30.
The 1 hour 50 minute flights will depart at 06:50 and 16:45, arriving in Brussels at 09:40 and 19:35 local time. Services from Brussels take off at 10:10 and 20:05 arriving in Durham Tees Valley at 11:00 and 20:55 local time. Eastern Airways will base a second aircraft at Durham Tees Valley with local pilots, cabin crew and engineers supporting the route.
Director Graeme Ross, of Eastern Airways said, 'We are pleased to offer a schedule specifically tailored for the business traveller, enabling a day's business in the Belgian capital without the need for an overnight stay and flights arrive back at Durham Tees Valley Airport by 20:55.'
