New Paphos flights from Durham Tees Valley
11.10.07
Flyglobespan is launching flights to Paphos from Durham Tees Valley Airport next summer. The news comes after the Scottish no-frills airline announced last month that it was cutting routes from the airport this winter.
Flyglobespan will operate the flights from Durham to Paphos every Wednesday from April until October 2008. The airline's chairman, Tom Dalrymple, said: 'This new flight enforces flyglobespan’s commitment to Durham Tees Valley Airport. We are very pleased to be launching another direct route from the airport and have high hopes that it will prove a popular choice for holidaymakers from the North East.'
Paphos is the seventh destination on Flyglobespan’s Summer 2008 flights roster from Durham Tees Valley. The airline will also be running flights to Alicante, Malaga, Palma, Faro, Jersey and Tenerife.
