Aer Arann launch Dublin – Derry flights
30.07.08
Aer Arann has begun its daily service between Derry Airport and Dublin. The Republic’s Minister for Transport announced in May that the airline had been awarded four of the six routes on offer in the Public Service Obligation tender. The Derry-Dublin route - previously operated by Loganair - has proved to be one of the busiest routes for the airport and has benefited tourism, leisure and business travellers.
Loganair has confirmed to the airport that it will continue to operate a Derry - Glasgow service and management are awaiting a revised schedule on this route.
