Flybe announce Cardiff - Belfast flights
06.12.06
Regional low-cost airline Flybe will begin a new service between Cardiff Airport and Belfast City Airport next spring. Beginning on May 17th, the flights will operate twice daily during the week and once daily on weekends. Fares are from £19.99 one-way, including taxes and charges.
The flights are the first offered from Cardiff by Flybe, although it is already the biggest airline operating at Belfast City. And more flights from Cardiff are on the horizon. Flybe's chief commercial officer, Mike Rutter, said in a statement: 'A new hub at Cardiff is another string to Flybe's bow. The airport has massive potential for growth and we are already looking at options for further new routes to be introduced early next year, so watch this space'
The route is a part of Flybe's 2007 summer schedule, which offers a total of 14 new domestic and European routes added to Flybe's network nationally.
