New French routes from Bristol and Cardiff on Aer Arann summer timetable

Aer Arran has announced a summer timetable that see the launch a routes to Nantes airport in France from Bristol and Cardiff, providing links to the Brittany region, the cheapflights.co.uk website reports.
The Irish regional airline will begin a service from Nantes to Bristol on May 19, operating twice a week on Tuesday and Saturday, while the Nantes to Cardiff service will operate on Saturday from June 23. Aer Arann operated a number of routes between the French airport and the UK and Ireland in the summer, but this will be the first time it provides a link to France from Bristol.
Colin Lewis, of Aer Arann, said: 'The strong passenger demand experienced on our French routes during summer 2006 is indicative of the popularity of Brittany as a holiday destination for Irish and UK passengers and as such we are delighted to be increasing our network of French routes for next year.'
