New service for stranded passengers at Bristol Airport
25.10.08
A new service offering assistance to passengers who have missed flights has been launched at Bristol Airport. Missedaflight.com, a service created by a company with over 25 years experience in the aviation industry, aims to assist the one in eight travellers who miss their flights every year through no fault of their own.
As well as re-arranging the flight the Missedaflight consultants will also assist with the knock-on effects of missing a flight such as the need to re-arrange car hire, amend hotel reservations or revise transfers - ensuring that all these match the new flight times.
Shaun Browne, head of commercial aviation and route development at Bristol Airport, said: ‘The new service from missedaflight.com means that passengers have an expert resource at their fingertips in the unfortunate event of a missed flight. Using their in-depth knowledge of international connections, missedaflight.com can find convenient, cost-effective alternatives without passengers having to travel to another departure airport.’
