Bristol Airport highlights four recent upgrades
25.08.10
Bristol Airport has highlighted four recent investments in improving the passenger experience for those passing through the airport - especially those who have not been there for a while - may notice:
A walkway now links the terminal to eight new contact stands, reducing the need for airlines to bus passengers to and from flights. Passengers boarding flights from the new walkway (gates 8-16) will need to allow a few extra minutes to reach the gate.
The security search area has been expanded, and an improved (paid) fast-track security channel offers a speedy and convenient option for frequent business passengers or families wanting a more relaxed start to their holidays.
A new tax and duty-free store has transformed the shopping experience, offering a wider selection of brands, including the Best Of The West range, which showcases products from around the region.
New Flyer buses operate every 10 minutes, are wheelchair accessible and passengers are now able to take their luggage on board with them, providing peace of mind and speeding up the boarding process.
