Councillor says Bristol Airport car park operating without permission

A local resident and Langford Parish council has told a local newspaper that she is fed up with holiday makers turning up at her house at all hours of the day because sat navs tell them it is an Bristol Airport parking site. She says that a local farm is operating an airport parking service illegally.

Parish councillor Jackie Bush, who lives at Churchill Farm, Langford, has had people turning up on a daily basis asking her if they are in the right place for Bristol Park and Fly, which is operating without permission.
A review is currently being carried out on a planning application for a licence that would enable the business to carry on running. However, North Sommerset Council has previously been quick to shut down illegal airport parking sites, and the Park and Fly facility risks this plus big fines should it continue to operate.
