Flybe reviewing Isle of Man – Bristol route on disappointing passenger numbers
16.10.10
Flybe is reviewing its Isle of Man to Bristol Airport route following disappointing passenger numbers, IOM Today reports. The airline is urging Manx residents to use the service to ensure the flights are maintained and new routes can be added in the future.
Flybe launched its three-times-a week services between the Isle of Man and Bristol in March, effectively replacing its Newquay summer-only service. Meanwhile, figures released by IOM Airport show that easyJet's launch of island services in May coincided with a drop in passenger numbers on Flybe's Liverpool and Manchester routes and Manx2's service to Blackpool.
