Bristol Airport walkway approved

Bristol Airport have won the right to build a walkway extension to the terminal. The decision follows an application for a certificate of lawfulness for a structure that would rule out the need for passengers to take buses from the terminal to their aircraft.
Anti expansion campaigners protested the plans were 'expansion by stealth' and argued that a full planning application should be submitted due to the size of the structure. However, councillors on North Somerset Council's South Area Committee voted last night to allow the development to proceed without one.
