Hot air balloons take off from Bristol Airport

More than 20 hot air balloons took off from the runway of Bristol Airport yesterday, to promote the city's annual Balloon Fiesta. The balloons took off just after 05:00 - to ensure there was no disruption to flights as the airport is closed at that time.
Fiesta director Susan Tanner said they wanted to do something special to launch the festival and ‘showcase it to a wider international audience,’ she said. The Fiesta takes place at Ashton Court between 6 to 9 August.
