12.04.11
easyJet is set to fly a record 25 million passengers out of Bristol Airport this week. In the past year it has flown 3 million passengers out of the airport - enabling it to hit the monumental 25 million mark since its arrival at the airport back in 2001. The airline, which also marks its 10th anniversary operating from Bristol Airport, next month, has recently increased the number of routes from the airport to 43 to include popular destinations including Bodrum, Dalaman, Cyprus and Rome to meet increased customer demand.
easyJet will reward the 25 millionth passenger it flies out of Bristol in April with free flights for a year. It is anticipated that the lucky passenger will be flying today or tomorrow and will be identified at check-in on the day of their departure.
