Ryanair launch 12 new routes from Bristol Airport

Budget airline Ryanair opened its new base at Bristol Airport today. The airline is launching its new hub with 12 new routes. Destinations include European hot spots Bratislava, Budapest, Derry, Knock, Milan, Porto, Riga and Wroclaw.
Today's new routes will be followed tomorrow by flights to Bratislava, Dinard, Poznan and Rzeszow, and to Katowice on Saturday. In addition, services to the ski destinations of Salzburg and Turin will take off in December, with three French destinations set to launch in May.
By next Spring, Europe's biggest budget airline will operate 21 routes from the South West hub. It expects to carry one million additional passengers next year from the airport.
Bristol is popular with budget travellers and is the biggest UK base outside London for low cost rival easyJet. Ryanair has put four million seats on sale for £10 one-way to mark the build up of services from the airport.
