Bristol Airport - Stockholm flights launched

A new summer service from Scandinavian airline SAS between Bristol Airport and Stockholm has been launched, providing the only direct air link between the West Country and the Swedish capital. The route is being operated twice a week - on a Monday and Friday evening - allowing people to get away for a short summer break.
Passengers using the new Bristol to Sweden service will arrive at Stockholm-Arlanda Airport, which is located 42 kilometres north of the city centre, although frequent bus and rail services connect the airport to central Stockholm, including the high-speed Arlanda Express rail link that has a journey time of just 20 minutes.
One-way tickets on the flights start from £49 inclusive of fees and charges, with the airline also offering its premium economy service - Economy Extra - on the route. The flight from Stockholm to Bristol departs 16:25 and arrives at 18:15 and the flight from Bristol to Stockholm departs at 19:05 and arrives 22:55.
