Snow hits Bristol Airport flights

Passengers flying from Bristol Airport have been delayed today by the freak weather conditions. Airport workers managed to clear the runway of snow this morning, but more snow then caused further delays.
The morning's arrivals from Plymouth, Newquay and Dublin were diverted to Manchester, Leeds Bradford and Stansted respectively. The arrivals from Amsterdam at 10.15, Aberdeen at 8.25, Frankfurt at 10.20, Paris CDG at 10.20 and Wrocław at 11.35 were all cancelled. The departures to Paris CDG at 06.35, Frankfurt at 06.50, Manchester at 07.30, Leeds Bradford at 07.30, Dublin at 08.05, Aberdeen at 08.50 and Amsterdam at 10.55, were also cancelled.
Other UK airports also suffered with Luton Airport flights subject to delay and cancellation, after the airport was forced to close this morning to clear its runway. Birmingham Airport and East Midlands Airport both suffered flight delays and Cardiff Airport was shut earlier today.
