easyJet launch three new routes from Bristol Airport

easyJet launched three new routes from Bristol Airport this week, the budget airline's largest base outside London. The new routes to Madeira, Gdansk and Lisbon give the region's travellers an even greater choice of destinations from their local airport.
The airline expects to carry over 122,000 passengers on these three new routes in the first 12 months of operation; contributing towards the 41 million passengers easyJet will carry in 2008. Madeira is one of the most popular, up and coming new low-fare destinations for 2008, and Bristol is the first easyJet base to operate flights to its capital Funchal.
Gdansk is an Eastern treasure in Northern Poland with a grand and historic port located on the Baltic Sea, and Lisbon, situated on the northern banks of the River Tagus, is a striking city of rich cultural heritage, renovated palaces, magnificent churches and an impressive castle.
