SAS launch new Bristol – Oslo route
03.04.08
Scandinavian Airlines System (SAS) launched a new service from Bristol Airport to the Norwegian capital of Oslo. The route will operate three times a week - on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays - throughout the summer from the south-west hub.
Available until October 23, the new route is ideal for holidaymakers wanting to make the most of the Scandinavian summertime and UK business travellers visiting the capital.
Lars-Ove Filipson, general manager of SAS UK, said that the airline was ‘delighted’ to increase its offering at Bristol, in addition to its route to Stockholm which already operates from the airport.
Paul Kehoe, chief executive of Bristol Airport, added: ‘The launch of the new Oslo route shows the potential of the south-west as a leisure destination for Scandinavians.’
