easyJet’s new Bristol flights take off
01.04.10
easyJet launched the first of four new routes from Bristol Airport earlier this week. The airline continues to expand in the South West - its biggest UK base outside of London - with its new Tenerife route taking flight on Tuesday. This will be followed by Paphos in Cyprus on April 14, Turkish routes to Bodrum and Dalaman mid July and Heraklion in Crete on July 17. The airline expects more new routes to be announced later this year.
Sophie Dekkers, UK commercial manager of easyJet, said: ‘Tenerife is famed for its year round sun and with flights from £35.99. three days a week, we're making this more accessible for all. easyJet now offers a total of 42 routes from Bristol Airport, and we plan to expand further from this key base to provide even more choice to travellers. The secret to our success is offering the lowest fares, to the most convenient airports.’
