Giant art celebrates Blackpool flight anniversary

Blackpool International Airport is hosting a piece from local artist Paul Kondras - a gigantic suitcase. This immense piece of luggage is 10-foot in height, and is on display at the terminal to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the flying experience in Blackpool.
Susan Kendrick, director of communications and customer relations at Blackpool Airport said the giant suitcase provides an amazing spectacle and is very successful at triggering the imagination of everyone who enters the airport terminal.
