Fog hits Birmingham Airport

Seven flights were diverted from Birmingham Airport when a computer fault meant they could not land because of heavy fog. Six inbound flights were also cancelled but others were able to land at the airport.
The Instrument Landing System (ILS) failed at about 09:30 this morning but has since been fixed. There are no delays to flights. The flights were diverted to Manchester and East Midlands airports.
