New Birmingham Airport hotel

Choice Hotels International, the global hotel group behind the Comfort, Quality, Clarion and Sleep Inn brands and one of the largest lodging franchisors in the world, has announced the opening of the Quality Hotel Birmingham Airport / NEC. Previously an independently run hotel, the property has 51 en-suite bedrooms and is located in the quiet Birmingham suburb of Acocks Green, a short distance from Birmingham International Airport, Birmingham NEC, as well as the City Centre.
The hotel features Choice’s newly-enhanced brand standards including upgraded bedding, free high-speed Internet access or Wi-fi and a consistent breakfast offering. Duncan Berry, Chief Executive Officer, Choice Hotels Europe, said: 'We are delighted to open this new hotel in the UK. We are rolling out enhanced brand standards to ensure we offer even better service and facilities to both leisure and business travellers.'
The Quality Hotel Birmingham Airport / NEC is the third Choice-branded hotel to open in Birmingham. The Comfort Hotel Birmingham, based in the heart of the city, has been welcoming guests since 1998 and the Quality Hotel Birmingham opened in 1994.
