bmibaby adds flights from Manchester, East Midlands and Birmingham

bmibaby is launching extra flights from East Midlands, Manchester and Birmingham Airport to the Mediterranean this summer. From East Midlands the budget airline will increase capacity to Mahon and Almeria, from Birmingham to Murcia, Faro, Malaga and Alicante, and from Manchester to Palma.
In total, bmibaby will add 30 extra flights a week to and from these destinations during the peak summer months. The increases bring services from Birmingham to Malaga to 12 flights a week, Alicante to 10, and both Murcia and Faro to 7.
Flights from East Midlands to both Menorca (Mahon) and Almeria are to increase to 4 a week, while flights from Manchester to Palma will be 7 flights a week. Managing director Crawford Rix said: ‘We are seeing strong demand from passengers for flights to typical summer sun destinations.‘
