New cruise flights for Birmingham Airport
17.11.09
Passengers traveling from Birmingham Airport will have more choice next year, thanks to the launch of new flights to a Spanish cruise port. The new flights to Palma de Mallorca will be operated by Monarch between May and October 2010 for MSC Cruises.
Passengers will be able to fly from Birmingham to Spain where they can pick up a cruise and begin their holiday. Giulio Libutti, managing director of MSC Cruises UK and Ireland, said the flights would open up the cruise trips, which travel to Toulon in France, Genoa, Portofini and Salerno in Italy, Ajaccio in Corsica and Tunis in Tunisia, to a wider audience.
