Birmingham Airport expects busy Christmas

More than 320,000 passengers are expected to pass through Birmingham Airport during the Christmas and New Year holiday period, from December 17 to January 2. This includes 3,000 travellers set to jet off from Birmingham or fly in on Christmas Day.
The most popular destinations include the Canary Islands, mainland Spain and city breaks to Paris, Amsterdam and Prague. Further afield Egypt’s Red Sea resorts and Morocco are popular with sun seekers, while Orlando a favourite getaway for festive families.
