Lufthansa to launch Birmingham - Hamburg flights

A reader has told us that Lufthansa will be commencing a Monday - Saturday morning service between Birmingham Airport and Hamburg from March 31, the start of the summer flights programme.
We are told that the service will be operated using a Lufthansa Regional Canadair Jet with 48 seats. The flight will leave Hamburg at 07:00 arriving Birmingham at 07:45 as LH4928 departing Birmingham at 08:15 arriving in Hamburg at 10:55 as LH4929 (all times local).
