New Birmingham Airport hotel to open in September

Budget hotel group Travelodge is to open a new hotel near Birmingham Airport in September. It is one of three new hotels it will open in the Midlands city this year. The other two hotels are the newly opened 210-room Birmingham Central Bull Ring Travelodge and the Travelodge Carrs Lane, due to open in December.
Guy Parsons, Travelodge’s CEO, said: ‘With over 33 million people annually visiting Birmingham for leisure and business, there is a real growing demand for good quality, low cost accommodation across the city. By the end of this year we will have 20 hotels in all of Birmingham’s major landmarks, making it more accessible and affordable for Britons to visit the city.’
